Biography
People and their stories fascinate me. My work is essentially about conveying that story either through portraiture or incorporating images into the work relevent to the subject.
I paint from life and photographs found in second hand journals and charity shops. Once the images have been selected I produce a number of sketches until I’m satisfied with the composition and colour palette. But I love leaving a lot to chance.
