Biography
My art is a conceptual and synthetic art, born from the interior need to communicate sensations and feelings, always starting from a constant analysis of life, social life and daily life. It‘s a continuous formal research combined with visual perceptions where shapes and colors are in constant movement and where the “emotion of the all“ mingles with the “astonishment of the soul“. My works are informal “picto sculptures“, often quite large, in which, besides the colors, prevail external elements that insinuate themselves in the composition, they pierce it, they tie it, capturing the sight with a movement of full and empty, lights and shadows that create impalpable nuances. They are pierced and wounded canvases by pins that symbolize the pain and the daily sufferings. Strong is the sensation of rebellion and fight, where the shocking pink color, that often appears in my works is almost used as a symbol of impudent femininity.
