Biography
Mendolia Roberto was born in 1962 in Taormina where he lives and works. Self-taught, artist, works of painting, sculpture, photography and theater. He defines a painter "amateur" because this allows him to maintain his own freedom of research. He is interested in a art without the "schemes" and it introduces him into a "his" particular "nomadism" artistic. He consideres himself "démodé" because he want to express himself without any influence. In the "kaleidoscopic" art world he want to maintain "his" equilibrium in the research of images, techniques and styles. It is a continuous eccentric wandering into the mystery of art world.
