Biography
The GiaMaArt studio gallery was established in April 2006 in Vitulano (BN), Italy not only as an exhibition space, but also as a project and promotional centre mainly dedicated to the young art of image painting in connection with the latest tendencies and forms of contemporary expression.
This exhibition space aims to become a sort of a small Kunsthalle in the heart of the Sannio area. It is directed by Gianfranco Matarazzo, who has already organized a series of important public exhibition events of contemporary art.
The GiaMaArt studio occupies an entire building in the centre of Vitulano. The first floor functions as a fully fledged gallery with three exhibition halls, a video area, the office and a garden that can be used for outdoor sculptures and installations. At present, restoration work is being concluded on the ground floor, where the grand open space will become a large project room for site specific events.
