Biography
Eclectic protagonist of many artistic periods, his creative eagerness is deeply rooted in the past. He continues his journey, flying high in order to renew the challenges he faces and “follow virtue and knowledge”; studying, travelling and experimenting new techniques and material. He is tireless and is currently focusing on exploring new expressive areas in order to move towards other lands and dimensions, to question others and himself on reality.
The genesis of his creations is linked to memory, to current themes, to historical and autobiographical aspects. “Inspiration”, his emblematic sculpture, evokes “the world of ideas” and at the same time the inexhaustible flow of his thoughts.
Discussing his work means talking about the man, his way of relating to the world, his philosophy. It means talking about his restlessness, his complexities, sometimes his lightness. It means talking about destinations that need to be reached, horizons that have to be crossed. Something he does without pausing, without ever relaxing, ever obedient to that uncontrollable, blind and irresistible force that invests human nature, to Schopenhauer’s “will to live”.
