Biography
Start of the exhibition activities in the early 90s.
First works suffered influence of surrealism and particoular of Magritte and Salvador Dali's art.
Following moves his interest in visual poetry and writing interesting about surrealistic research on automatic writing.
The research looks toward abstractionism and fully embraces the theories of transavanguardia (De Maria, Paladino, Clemente).
Through writing and the word keeps alive the bond with currents of the'60s-'70s balancing image and poetic sense.
Use the word to evoke poetic emotions poetic also unrelated from images.
In recent years, after various exhibitions in Italy and Europe, return to first figuration art, drawing on new pop surrealism (low brow) but keeping well live references of contemporary European painting. Then use the word that is brought in terms of pure sign.
The emotion is given by the contrasts of light and white images of children playing on funds which remind landscapes of war or crisis.
The sense of the drama is represented by contrasts and psychological research rather than through violent or bloody images.
