Biography
Claire Fristot aka A-li-ce lives and works in Paris. Graduated of the Ecole Supérieure de l’image of Poitiers in 2004, her practical experience of photography and drawing leaded her to explore the fields of installations and new medias. In 2006 she passed a Master 2 at EHESS in Paris and her thematic focused on links between video media and memory arts.
She has been working with theater companies for six years, making video creation intended to street performances or stage. She began live video in 2004 with the performance Courant d’air and created one for the play Gaspard, enfants sauvages de l’Europe created in february 2007 in Bucarest. She started the Juste Alice Project in 2007 with the cello player Domitille Sanyas and creates the HomeMade collective with other live performers the same year. Besides her own projects she works with many artists, and as a vj for different events, taking part in many festivals such as Mapping Festival, Vision Sonic, Paysages Electroniques, LPM, Videoformes, etc. She is also a part of the duo audio-video :NÄ:.
