About my work;
My work involves the media of photography, painting and drawing, compositionally processed and combined using computer media.
The obvious integration of different media and technologies provides room for expression which unites the real and the virtual worlds.
As a result of this symbiosis and cultural interplay, familiar views or perspectives are confronted by new and unknown perceptions.
A metaphorical representation presents the surface image in a new light. The accentuation of fragmented data and structures, freed of material weight through colour, allows a sensitive rediscovery of features and situations.
The stylistic enhancement of the discernible, presents another true core in a sensual ascertainable form and provides scope for multifaceted subjective interpretation.
Reality is expanded and animated.
Life is the material,… art is the creative process
and the spiritual adventure of constantly seeing the world anew.
