Biography

A proposal to regard interior beauty in human energy moving through mudras,
crystallized in their blossoming expression.

"Her intention is to awaken a sense of surprise in seeing so much real beauty.
The piece gains strength and meaning when we read that this is about mudras versus narcissism, self appreciation or self contemplation. Then the
piece becomes an invocation, a prayer and a poem of beauty. A poem because of the simplicity but also depth of the clamoring of the hands in continuous movement towards the "high".
The texture of the hands and specially the color are elements of truth. She did not pretend all the fingers to be beautiful per se, in fact some of them look rough -- as it should be-- because this is the "reality" of the hands' dimension in themselves."

This is a study, a representation of existence as a source of inward perception and becoming aware of oneself.
She chose to cast her own hand as an allusion to the hand of the artist, the maker.
Here she suggests all the other hands and gestures that are absent from the piece, and
implied present in it at the same time.
