Biography
In her research Giulia Casula investigates in the memory of the territory, of the space and of the places of everyday life, trying to decipher its nature, the daily rhythms, the silences. Directly drawn from the every day lives from the past and working with archives , she joins together signs, elements, photos, sketches, texts, evidence that document and disclose small interferences, accidents, coincidences, intentions. Their removal causes those involved to experience a process of translation and interpretation, influenced and also transformed by the environment in which the work is exibited.
