Biography
My mission as an artist is to focus on environmental awareness. Through visual arts I feel like we can make A difference in bringing more awareness to people of all ages, by exposing them to exhibitions, programs and art projects in which allows them to see that there is a deep connection to the way we live and our planet. As an artist my initial start was creating paintings with litter and disposables. It was something I began doing in my youth, it was my message in art I found. Through the years I realized that there was much more that was needed in moving forward with the environmental/ green movement. As, I started off only reaching for a paintbrush not knowing that this would play a pivotal role in what I found is my life’s mission: I call it Make Art Matter. It started with me just showing in exhibits leaving printed out research I had found about ecological crisis, and pollution. I wanted people to know that this was a problem, and then I realized after that first year it is our youth that needs awareness more than anyone living here on earth. They are the future the ones who can make the impact.
