Sergio's work toys with the viewer’s structural expectations, while stimulating curiosity and recollections. . He provides a visual commentary, revealing a world of subjective morality that he both challenges and embraces.



In 2010, he achieved remarkable acclaim and recognition. Four of his pieces were selected for showing at 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Included in the show was his celebrated U-shaped tricycle, which greeted visitors in the Nice Cote D'Azur Airport France .

He also received First Place at the “Celebrate Texas Art 2010” exhibition in Houston, which was juried by John Zarobell, assistant curator of painting and sculpture of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
