Biography
Jose Maria Lallana was born in Cordoba, Argentina in 1975.
Since his early childhood Jose showed a great interest for art and antiques perhaps for his close relation with the art dealing world. His father was a well known antique dealer and used to take Jose trough his trips around the world for his profession.
After he finished high school, he started to study arquitecture. He did so for about three years but then decided to switch to Graphic Design understanding that that career was a closer way to convey his ambition to make some art making a living out of it. Unfortunately, close to finish his career his parents passed away and Jose had to assume a huge amount of responsibilities that driven him away from his studies. Nevertheless, he always embrace a tight relation with his creativity doing several different kind of artwork. For Jose, this was the only connection he had to canalize his so strong feelings. Finally, after living in Barcelona for about four years he came back to Argentina where he set up his studio. There, he started a serial of large abstract acrylic paintings. Actually, Jose is living between Europe and Argentina.
