Biography
In my practice I am informed by the aches and pains of my daily life, be they actual or imagined. I acknowledge and utilise these senses whilst trying to escape the tyranny of aesthetics that can dictate the work of a painter, focusing on the transplanting of the senses from myself to the canvas I apply my marks to. My work both examines the potential and actual deterioration of the physical as a devasting conclusion whilst also marvelling at the beauty of the transformation.
