Biography

Tamara Marino develops her artistic language, experimenting with all the main techniques related to the arts of drawing and sculpture, looking for various connections with the new performative and musical languages, on an experimental and sensorial plan. She is always looking for the identity as a window of the truth and she's not scared to differ from one artistic discipline to another and to contaminate each others. So the drawing turns into music, photography turns into sculpture and creation becomes disintegration.

After her graduation of Maestro d'Arte and Arti Applicate in Ceramic at the Istituto Statale d'Arte Salvatore Fiume in Comiso, she graduates also at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Catania (university) in 2008 with the grade 110 e lode. Soon she moved to Carrara working as an artist at the studio of Sculpture SGF Silvio Santini & Co, where in 2013 ends an honors degree course in Sculpture in the class of Aron Demetz and Gianni Dessi. In 2015 she gets the qualification for teaching plastic disciplines.

From 2012 she starts an artistic collaboration with the sculptor and partner Simon Troger with the installation "MADE IN", a work that questions the dialogue between opera, art and their economic value in the social contemporary. Since May 2010 she also arranges Academic Laboratories of the main artistic disciplines as: painting, sculpture, drawing and artistic anatomy, at her Atelier situated in the historical center in the city of Vittoria and in Pietrasanta. In 2012 she collaborates as artist with the group G.A.P in Glorenza (BZ).
