Biography
Maria Nobili was born in Italy and has lived for several years in Toronto (Canada), where she completed her studies.
She now lives in San Cesareo, just south of Rome.
She has always had a passion for arts and painting in particular. She was only 13 when she participated in a national art contest and her work was shown in Milan.
In 2002 she joined a group of artists in the Associazione Pittori di Zagarolo and worked under the guidance of Giuseppe Serra. With her artist friends, she opened an Art Studio in 2005 (“Insieme per l’Arte”) in Zagarolo (Rome), where she works and exhibits.
She works mainly with oil and watercolours, obtaining good results and very positive critics.
She has participated in several art exhibitions in prestigious locations and also at the Tuyap Art Fair of Istanbul. Her works are shown in private and public collections.
In 2010/2011 she belonged to the group of artists of the Scuderia of Daniele Radini Tedeschi, a well-known art critic in Rome and the St. Lazarus Academy.
She's on the Enciclopedia of Contemporary Art, D'Arte editor.
In 2013 her work was put for sale by an auction house in Rome and her quotation can be seen on Artprice.
