Biography
William Artt is an artist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has exhibited widely throughout Ireland and the UK as well as the USA, Japan and Europe.
His current practice makes use of photographic images found on the web or that have emailed to him by friends and colleagues.
He is courrently working on a long term project entitled 'The Lives of Others' in which he takes found images that have been posted on web forums etc or sent to him via email which he then edits,enhances and manipulates.
The project examines the eclectic choice of subject that people choose to photograph which in turn evoke an insight into their own lives.
It is hoped that the project will evolve into a series of exhibitions, a website/forum and a publication. The project will also be complimented by a series of limited edition prints.
