Biography
Marzia Bollani was born in Pavia in 1971.
I started "my way" in 1990, entchanted by art in general and by everything that gave space to my fantasy.
My professional studies includes a diploma as stylist with a specialization in fashion.
Job profile includes design as internal decorator, with different tecniques in the pictorial sphere, with a good answer of pubblic and criticism from my first collective exhibitions.
Time after time, painting became my favourite form of expression, where I could exploited in the best manner, my invincible instinct and emotional pulsation of soul.
It starts from a figurative art, far off academical rules, free fluid turned to transfer emotions, where bodies are burded with a strength going over a physical force, that i decompose and rewrite on new levels.
After an inevitable developed process, i gave up the figure leaving space to the gesture, to colours that almost in an irrational manner stretch on the support of the painting to the full dissolution of the flesh.
It is a question of unbroken speech, of extreme spiritual coherence.
Now colours, gesture, light, love are included in the same feeling…
