Biography

Daniele Capecchi is a self-thaught painter who finds his path in the iper-realistic portrait genre, and emerges among the ranks of local painters for the peculiar shades of his brush tecnique.
In his sixth exibition "Mostra Permanenza Temporanea" he deals with CPT (illegal immigrant detention centers) seen as a no-place by definition, where the staying is a suspended waiting time, impalpable, uncertain. Kyo Art Gallery hosts immigrant faces, drawned with fast brush works, full of intensity, defining a life, an history to be written. In the immigrant portraits one can read desperation, solitude, discrimination, fear. Dramatic expressions of broken lives, of an interrupted future, a neglected hope and in the meantime the pride of being human.
