Biography
I have as a reference model ideal, the great twentieth-century American painting, from pop art to Hopper to hyperrealism.
However, I do not necessarily need to paint subjects 'exotic', because sometimes my paintings also incorporate scenes from family photos, or my friends.
Another big source of inspiration for me are the films of the '50s and '60s, the advertising world, the great historical events, especially of the century just past.
From the technical point of view I use acrylic paints (often focusing on black and white combined with monochromatic backgrounds) and I love a painting as clean as possible, clear and easy to read.
I am convinced that it is not necessary to use a heavily symbolic language, or even convoluted, to convey messages.
If someone thinks - and I do not think so - that the task of art is just to send messages in bottles into the sea of communication.
