Biography
William M. Santoleri was born in Guardiagrele (CH), Italy in 1971, first born to a methodist minister and a pharmacist. After completing his higher education in Abruzzi, he chooses to continue his university studies in Rome. His contact with the artistic world begins at Academy of Fine Arts under the guidence of Antonio D’Acchille. He subsequently graduates with a degree in History of Art, from the “Sapienza” University in Rome. In 1996 he wins Silver at the Premio Arte Mondadori in Milan and from that moment he didicates more and more time to painting, illustration and photography. In 2002 he moves to Parma where he lives and works. He travels frequently around Europe.
