Biography
Ms. Cumming has a broad range of interests in art including art history,Books of Hours, stained glass, and First Nations art and crafts. She also works in photography, textiles,inks and coloured pencil.
Her work was featured in the juried show, Convergence, the annual juried show at the Tom Thomson Art Gallery in Owen Sound early in 2009. She was selected for the juried group show, EXPOSED at the Gladstone Hotel, Toronto for CONTACT, 2009. Her work was exhibited at the Kinsey Institute Juried Show on human sexuality & gender from May to July 2009. The works are now part of the permanent collection of the Institute. Four glicee works were accepted to the international juried show Geometric at the Rockaway Center for the Arts Gallery, New York in June 2009. She was accepted into the international juried show, Shorelines,at the Rockport Center for the Arts, Texas in 2009. Four works were shown in the juried show, Glow at the Annmarie Garden,Maryland from November, 2009 to February 14, 2010.
She has donated works to support numerous charities. She is currently serving as Past President of the Ontario College of Art & Design Alumni Association and on the Board of Governors.
