The myth in the sign
The dialogue between East and West, the equilibrium of mole-Renaissance elements drawn by the world of the myth and exotic atmospheres, the extreme search of the synthesis of the sign and the expressive possibilities of the graphics, is the characterizing elements of the works of Franco Pagliarulo, exposed near the Gallery Europe of Lido di Camaiore, in the first show. After years of study and search the artistic run of Pagliarulo comes to a mature and aware language, founded upon a personal expressive ability, supported by one consolidated technical competence that allows him to face with naturalness the different arts of the portrait, the fresco, the graffiti and the painting to Japanese ink. Among the present works in show we remember two representing frescos the signs zodiacali of Taurus and Aries; the series of portraits "Nereidi", realized to monochrome on the tones of the blue one and inserts in gold leaf and a section of works esemplificative of the last stylistic evolution of the artist, incentrate on the mythological theme, that realize an original synthesis among the portrait, the graphics, the incision and the Japanese calligraphy.
