Biography
Always been a self-taught portraitist, I attended a School of comics for acquiring the technique that I felt I needed. I am still interested in people, but rather than seeking its expression in the features of the face, now I love to represent what the body can communicate about emotions, feelings, sufferings. Emaciated bodies, skin having the color of a marble statue, eyes looking downwards, shame, fear of facing life, sometimes resignation: that's the way I imagine the woman today, cold outside, as if she wanted to defend herself from the world, but revealing her femininity to those who are able to take it.
