Biography
Self-taught, he began painting at 23 years old for necessity.
He executes reproductions of works easy to copy. At the beginning to decorate the house but then to supplement his income.
After several years of intense activities, he leaves his job as empployee and opens a small shop-studio.
He find, or rather he thinks he has found, his own way of painting in the works of Afro Basaldella.
From 1974 to 1980 he participate to all the painting prizes of his knowledge, creating in that period about 500 paintings, winning several awards and recognitions.
In addition to paintings, he also starts to produce the frames for his painting and also for those of his collegues.
Shortly the frame becames the source more profitable and absorbs up to a few years ago most of his energies; creating a real industrial activity with two factories and a printing Art Frame that still employ dozens of people.
After yielding his industrial activity to a U.S. multinational, from 2005 he returns to his first real passion.
He still have the concept of painting made by form and color, but does not disdain to experiment with new technologies, such as a plotter plan for large works momore developed
