Biography
Maurizio Carpanelli was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1946.
He attended Scientific High School and went on to the Faculty of Engineering, graduating in Electronics.
Although his passion for art goes back a long way, for many years he kept it hidden away - an intimate secret, yet parallel to his scientific work.
As his brilliant career in industry developed, he kept his artistic passion to himself.
But over time, what had been a private pleasure grew into a need and a desire for contact with an audience.
Although more than fourty years have gone since he painted his first picture, only in recent years has Carpanelli started showing his work in personal exhibitions. Twin expressions of one soul.
Maurizio Carpanelli lives and works in Bologna.
