Biography
Established artist in the world of pictorial art, since the beginnings shows a great ability to take possession of the techniques and materials. Lives and works between Italy and NY as it is shows in her work throughout her artistic career; in fact, we find a strong link with the tradition of Italian Spazialismo, but at the same time with the currents like the American Action Painting and the Informal. The work of this young artist is strongly characterized by the presence of the matter. The artist's presence in the New York cultural ambient, further strengthens this research especially in the context of the project Sounds, inspired by the work Sounds (1912) by W. Kandinsky, of VisionIntoArt at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she participates in the realization of video installations and painting. She creates video installations for SoloNovaArtFestival organized by PS1 in NY and photographic works as the new project I AM SORRY, intimate reflection on the role of women in contemporary society. Her works are in private and public collections and have been exhibited in museums and galleries (Tea Gualdo)
