OMAR SALVAGNO
THE SCULPTOR OF THE MERMAIDS

Inspired by the technique of modeling of the Master Auguste Rodin creates works in bronze and marble, inspired by the sea stories of the greek-roman mythology, and his frequent travel “PER MARE, PER TERRAM”, from Brazil to Turkey, going to Capri, where Parthenope was born, her sculpture symbol.

Since 1999 he creates his sculptures in collaboration with: Fonderia Artistica Da Prato, and Laboratorio Marmi Michele Barsanti, in "Little Athens" of contemporary sculptors, Pietrasanta.

His works are in publics and private collections in: Napoli, Roma, Palermo, Viareggio, Lucca, Grosseto, Assisi, Livorno, Pistoia, La Spezia, Parma, Trieste, Amsterdam and Sao Paulo do Brasil.

The Master Omar Salvagno is Knight of the Italian Republic and of the Costantinian Order of Saint George.
