Biography
Kamila Szadaj, born 1976 in Wroclaw, Poland
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, Department of Interior Design and Design (Diploma with Distinction in 2000)
Since 2008 Postgraduate Multimedia Design Course Instructor at Fine Arts Academy in Wroclaw
Kamila’s painting is characterised by a wide range of expressed feelings and emotions backed by a strong artistic intuition. Her works are often assuming a form of a collage, executed with strong, expressive and seemingly careless brush-strokes. They present a vivid, sometimes aggressive and a very personal statement regarding her perception of the surrounding world, conveying spontaneity, passion and ideas. She is utilizing various painting and drawing techniques along with the ones of her own creation, incorporating machine sewn fabrics, paper and various other materials.
She has also been working as a graphic designer for many years .
