Patrizia Zelano
Patrizia Zelano was born in 1964 and she currently lives and works in Verucchio (Rimini) Italy. Since 2001, she dedicates her work to photography. Studies in ethnic- anthropology are the foundation of her cultural education and training.
In the academic years 2005- 2006 and 2006- 2007 she attended the Photography Course directed by the Teacher Guido Guidi at the ‘Accademia di Belle Arti’ in Ravenna. He will play an important role in the artistic research and development of his student Patrizia Zelano. In her pictures, art and paint find a sublimation state by heightening the represented object from being purely hedonistic to strongly ontological.
After she created publications, personal and collective exhibitions, in Italy and abroad, she achieves distinctions and rewards at national cultural events: First Prize at SI FEST 2006 (Savignano sul Rubicone), Second Prize Portfolio 2006 (Prato), First Prize at the International Festival of Photography (Napoli), 2009 First Prize SI FEST (Savignano sul Rubicone) and in 2009 she was finalist at the Premio Arte Mondatori.
