Biography
Corrado Colombi was born in Milan in 1969.
After attending the Art Institute “Cimabue” and then the Public Artistic Lyceum I° in Milan, he joined the “Brera Academy” where attended the classes directed by Baruzzi, Paolo Scirpa, Laura Panno and Francesco Porzio. During these years his reasearch focused on design and engraving.
In 1994 he took his degree in painting at the Brera Academy. In 2001 he was selected among the finalists of “Arte Award”, in the following years he took part in “Morlotti di Imbersago Award” (2002) and “Arte Award” (2005 and 2006). In 2008 he was selected and included in the catalogue of “Carlo dalla Zorza Award 2008” (7th edition), Ponte Rosso Gallery, Milan.
One year later he took part in “Arte Award 2009”, was selected as finalist and won the golden plate for the graphics section. In July 2010 he was selected among the finalists of “Wannabee Prize”, Wannabee Gallery, Milan.
Currently he carries out his artistic work in his own studio in Rivolta d'Adda, where he also lives
