Biography

Daniel Hagerty, a graphic artist, is a native of the Northern Midwest.

Spending his freshman and sophomore years of undergraduate studies at the University
of Maryland, Munich, Germany, taught Daniel an appreciation of art and inspired the will
to create it.

While attending the University, he participated on a local military television station as an
on-camera reporter; covering such events as Oktoberfest and acting in humorous commercials
depicting the issues of the time.

Upon returning to the United States, he attended the University of North Dakota and graduated
with a B.A. in Communication.

Since those carefree college days, he has practiced the graphic arts by working in the
advertising/print industries in Atlanta, Georgia.

Twenty years later these computer illustrations/paintings emerged as a culmination of
commercial graphic design experience and creative experimental knowledge of acrylic
painting and pen & ink drawing.

"The computer affords me the ability to create a piece that is vibrant with a minimal amount
of mess!"

Daniel is currently employed as a designer with Mercenary Graphics and a card carrying
member of The Life is a Shit Storm and the Only Decent Umbrella is Art Society.
