Biography
I try to have fun with my work and if possible get people to smile,
My themes vary from politics, sex, religion, for me all these combine and survive with each other.
I enjoy traditional stiles and very figurative ways of drawing and painting, and mixing them with street and modern inspirations, the surface on witch I paint plays a big part and I’m constantly on the look out for various textures.
I think I can be seen as offensive, or provocative to some people, by using symbols from religions, wars, politics, and sexual images, as they surround us and if you look with the right eyes you can see they go hand in hand.
Being raised in Italy, in a very catholic town as given me inspiration and a interest in medieval paintings, and the folklore of carnivals and masquerades,
These themes are repeated throughout my work
I think my work and studio habits can make me thrive off the energy of other people and the bigger the studios the bigger can be the work.
