Biography
Roberto G.Ferrante studies at the Fine arts Academy of Naples, and he graduated in 2006. His artistic career begins in 2000. In 2004 he takes part in 2 exhibitions during Maggio dei Monumenti.
In 2005 takes part in "Un calendario d'arte contemporanea", a manifestation organized by MIUR and Neapolitan Museums, which took place at the Auditorium of Capodimonte and present at the Biennale of the young artists of Europe and Mediterraneo and then,again at Maggio dei Monumenti.
In 2006 he organizes many exhibitions, such as "Alla scoperta del Vesuvio", which took place at PAN.
He has won the first prize at "Campagna per la dissuasione dal fumo", organized by Naples province.
In 2007 at the Vittoriano of Rome, he presents a digital painting named "Incontri passionali"; it is a success and Emilia Dodi considers Ferrant as one of the main famous international artists, such as: Max Ernst, Andy Warhol, kounellis, Barisani , Tatafiore, Cucchi e Paladino.
In 2008 among the exhibitions, Sisma08 (centenary of the earthquake which destroyed Reggio and Messina) and "Arte in stazione" which took place at Castel Nuovo and where he won a special prize for the installation "A Leo", a sculpture realized with the collaboration of Anna Giannotti and permanently exhibited at the Central Station of Naples' circumvesuviana.
In 2009 he has been guest at the famous book shop Guida Port'Alba for the exhibition "La Stella di David".
