Biography
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I left to serve in the Air Force after graduating high school and have since lived in Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming, California, New York, Idaho and England. I have made a living as a photographer, artist and educator--in varying configurations--since 1982 and was the recipient of the bronze Lorenzo il Magnifico at the 2009 Florence Biennale.
Journeys
Each image the record of a trip comprised of hundreds of images synthesized together in a chronological amalgam of travel through time and space. Like a short film compressed or projected as a single frame, details disappear and in their place, only an impression persists.
