Biography
My creativity comes from ever-changing needs, sometimes experimental technique, more often it is purely conceptual and derives from the attempt to give form to personal reflections of a philosophical nature.
Each work is based on the power of communication to be incisive, attractive, never boring.
Chernobyl 1986 – Fukushima 2011
In this project I wanted to bring art to the reflection of the genetic changes caused by the nuclear disaster of which nobody longer speak.
In the proposed work I designed the jewelry was part of the body as a result of a genetic change caused by massive exposure to radiation.
From floral growths, represented in embryo in the ring, goes to the development of the stem of the pin that completes its metamorphosis in the neck, which completely surrounds the body.
The jewel becomes an expression of this transformation that affects and permeates the body, and precisely through the use of radiographs is highlighted the growth of these anatomic irregularities.
The creation of the jewel in the lost wax casting emphasizes the idea of R03;R03;nuclear fusion, which changes the material itself.
Each jewel is created to read through the X-rays make it legible in each of its structure, thus no longer a simple necklace but a plastic form of sense.
