Biography
There is a huge legacy of historical and modernist art from which a contemporary artist can inform their practice. The spirit and experimentation in 20th century work is also enhanced by a mixture and collision of pictorial languages seen in post modern and 21st century art. The pluralism of contemporary art can also be seen in microcosm in artists such as myself whose practices may be eclectic and at times contradictory and self-critical.
