Biography
I was born in Taiwan, and moved to Costa Rica with my parents when I was 3 years old. I always liked to draw growing up- drawing little narratives and story books which after studying Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in NYC turned into limited edition art books now in library collections of institutions such as San Francisco MOMA, Getty Research Institute, Stanford and other university archives. With an introduction and access to digital medium that Parsons School of Design offered, my drawings come to life and now mostly take on the format of animation installations. I have exhibited at the A.I.R. Gallery, Flux Factory, and Secret Project Robot in NYC; at Lumen Eclipse in Harvard Square, Boston; and on the Great Wall of Oakland in California. International wise I participated in the Costa Rica Biennial in 2009, where my work was selected to proceed onto the Central America Biennial exhibition (Bienal del Istmo) to take place in Nicaragua later this year.
