Biography
An important passage in the career of the artist consists of some paintings featuring a blue or black background, with supports made from wooden tables or even with special papers. In addition to the paint film, extended in a sought-after synthesis in a subtle and careful veil of colour, the darkness of the backgrounds, the phytomorphic trace of the organic structure and the material and artisan consistency of the leaf emerge and become stars in the definition of intense chiaroscuros, made up of involving light and insistent obscurity.
