Biography
Simona Delivrano was born in November 1983 and lives and works in Turin.
She attended the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and graduated in Painting and Visual Arts.
His artistic research is expressed through painting, investigating the emotional connection between reality and human interiority, developing forms and expressions of sign and color.
His language focuses on the communication used to visualize the "inner experience" and his attempt at dialogue between form and content. An intimate and visceral bond is created between the artist and his work that records a narrative in a constant search: the search for Emotion. Therefore, multi-layered images arise which question the fragility and instability of the certainties of our reality.
The form disintegrates in color through the language of abstraction and the word is transformed into an artistic gesture by describing a present emotional impact.
The artist chooses herself as an instrument of gesturality, not as a body, but impressing emotional thought without an initial preconception, determining an echo, a test of communication. The result is deconstructed to the extent that the meaning will have a multifaceted interpretation, inciting the viewer to create new personal associations.
