Biography
Federica Di Carlo, has studed to the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome,and Bologna, she lived in Barcelona and London, where she attended several courses and came into contact with international artists. One of her last experience was in Salzburg with the American artist Judy Fox, to refine the sculptural techniques.
Host to numerous group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, has attracted great interest from the public and critics. Among her latest exhibition in Fabula art III in the museums of San Salvatore in Lauro, with the collaboration of: Arushi Art New Delhi India, MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto, Rice Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily where she has exhibited with great artists such as Shirin Neshat, Patrick Guerresi Maimouna, Mimmo Paladino et al. At the same time his work was auctioned by Christie's.
The Jumpers, curated by Valentina Bernabei (curator and writer for Flash Art) to the International Women House (Rome)where she was invited to exhibit.
Stream of consciousness, to the IPSAR gallery of Rome curated by Chiara Natali with a prologue of Angelandreina Rorro. (the curator of contemporary art in the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome).
Recently has been among the winners of the competitions: Factory 2012 (Ex-mattatorio, testaccio) Premio Ora 2012, Como Contemporary Contest 2012.
