Barbara Karwowska has lived in Naples since 1992. This city is her inexhaustible mine of ideas.
Paintings by Karwowska have three elements: focus, share an emotional, intellectual intrigue. Karwowska is cautious in finding and expressing the universal symbols of antiquity. But she knows how to use them modern. Sometimes these symbols are clear and obvious, but often are hidden and difficult to decipher. Using these symbols the artist leads us into her personal world. And in a world of her community - art galleries, theaters and friends. She does this in a way essential, determined. Intellectual curiosity is intrigue, investigations and discovery of moods. In these "silent narratives" dream and reality meet in everyday life that we know everyone.
