Biography
Gino Bernardini, was born in Italy, province of Viterbo, on the 29th of June 1966. Even when he was young he showed an inclination for painting, specializing in nature such as plants, leaves and flowers. He transfers his passion for nature onto the canvas.
He is self-taught and has been painting since 1990 – he learns techniques and the painting basics from the best artists. He is especially inspired by the nature that surrounds him, from the countryside of north Lazio and the close Tuscany.
Painter and poet of the imaginary, he lets us enter his unique artistic universe, unique in its style. His artistic language, which looks for the improvisation, is typically informal with free shades of dense colour.
With impressionist disposition and passionate content he imprints upon us his serenity through his artistry.
In every painting there’s authentic poetry, in the fascinating anthem of nature there’s hidden a music that lets vibrate the secret strings of the soul. Signs, colours and lights give life to suggestive images and they are the result of this interior world re-elaborated from the memory. A research made with passion, connected to his country roots, a vital conversation with the flowers, streams, marvellous poppy fields, flowers in light flashing colours.
Abandoned the usual artist’s paintbrush, he is contemporary and debuts the visionary genius of the artist, nothing can contaminate that passionate impulse lacking in reflection. It enables the artist to realize unique and particular paintings and always receives great accolade and praise from the public.
