Artist statement
Reflections on my artistic research.
My works are born primarily by the love I have for animals and the strong attraction that has me on the colorful and ephemeral world of fashion.
All this leads me to paint subjects of various animal species, including my favorite dog, which interact with the female figure even assuming the guise: it is therefore clear of contamination between animals and humans. This contamination, at times, becomes a true metamorphosis that brings the animal to enter the interior of the human melting in his eyes.
Portray them as if they were models on the cover of glossy magazines, which often draw inspiration from, and each of them try to give a unique character and personality, with vain expressions and ironic.
Often the eyes are very loaded, the tattooed body: spiced up with jewelry and accessories.
They are therefore obvious references to fashion and make-up and in general the excesses typical of this world that are so identified in an ironic and sarcastic.
I love the techniques used are mostly acrylic and oil on canvas.
