LUCA LUBELLO
was born in Caserta in 1982, where he lives and works.
Luca Lubello shapes images starting with the memory’s common area: the childhood with its games and toys.It’s a painting, but it's like we had photographed those images in the mind and now, seeing them again to the monitor of the truth, some distorsions, solarizzazionis, macroscopic pixels come out. They have been altered by the vision, they are images deteriorated by the memory. Digital memory shows its limits and the painting finds its ransom, dreaming women whose words flyes as butterflies. Women, close-ups of women, with great red mouths and half-closed eyes.
The women portrayed by Luca Lubello are beautiful and fascinating, catched in the tenderest and sweetest moment, they appears dreamy and sensual, protagonists and victims of mass glamour. Great cold attacks them, ready to give a shiver to the creation, a shake to the life. It’s a painting that arises from the pixel experience and from the light of monitors, but it’s painting ,the real painting.
