Biography

Raffaele Santalucia was born in 1975 in Pisa, and from childhood has fed a strong attraction to the artistic expressions of painting and music, which has always cultivated with passion and perseverance.
After a few years after graduation diploma in accounting and work experience, in 1998 he attended the Art Academy of Pisa at the master Bruno Pollacci.
In the same year was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where, under the aegis of Professor Roberto Giovannelli, received his diploma in painting. At that time he developed the thesis: theory and method of the mass media, with supervisor Professor Nicola Corradini.
In 2009 he wanted to improve the expressiveness of his paintings focusing on the anatomical study of facial expression and dynamism, which is why he enrolled at the School of Cartoon Livingstone in Pontedera, where he was able to take advantage of the teachings of Riccardo Bogani and Riccardo Pieruccini.
From 1999 he exhibited his works in Italy and abroad. In 2011 he exhibited at the Brick Lane Gallery in London and Galerie Marzia Frozen in Berlin.
