Biography
AuroraMeccanica (Carlo Riccobono, Roberto Bella and Fabio Alvino) since 2007 expresses his art in interactive video installation. Live and work in Turin, Italy. In his works AuroraMeccanica starts from the metaphorical sense that an object or a material have in a certain culture or society.
Since 2007 auroraMeccanica exhibited his works in gallery and museum of Roma, Lucca, Milano, Torino, Reggio Calabria, Pisa, Antwerpen.
The starting point for realizing a work in which we meet universal themes and concepts is the reflection about the use of materials and its mixture with the insubstantial video.
The final result is a creation of an interactive installation in which the audience' s intervention becomes essential to complete the work. Thecnology and materiality of the objects come together allowing an involvement and then a consciousness raising. The gestures and the actions of the audience are the symbol of an active and constructive approach to the society in which they live.
