Biography
Humphries, an adopted child of first generation immigrants, strives to generate and construct a conceptual and reflective narrative which expresses the alienness and thrill of discovering a new place and the difficulties of communicating the perception of new things to others. The visual syntax of architecture and design representation are used to generate drawings which probe the perception of new spaces and align one cognitive map [the canvas] with another [the viewer].
