Biography

Nancy Wyllie holds Master’s degrees from RISD and Tulane University. She is a Professor of Art at the Community College of Rhode Island where she teaches courses in digital media including video art. In 1987-88, she studied film at NYU. She has exhibited her photo-based work and video art in New York at White Columns, The Alternative Museum, Artist’s Space and P.P.O.W. as well as Brandeis University, Ohio State University, Marymount Manhattan College, Providence College and M.I.T.
Her video art and short documentaries have been screened throughout the US and abroad including The Whitney Museum of American Art at Altria, The 7th International Berlin Director’s Lounge and the Video Art & Experimental Film Festival at Tribeca Cinemas in NYC.
