Biography
I am a 53 year old self taught artist who just started painting two years ago. Most of my life I spent at home raising my children, substitute teaching and working as a preschool teacher, Illness forced me into early retirement. While hospitalized, I was given some paints and paper to pass the time and immediately became obsessed with improving my skills. When not painting I view others work on forums like this and Deviant art trying to figure out the incredible techniques others have achieved. I thank all the artists who share their work . . I am in awe of what the human hand can achieve and hope someday my work will be an inspiration to others.
